The Beetel has just now launched it’s yet another tablet in the Indian market dubbed as, “Magiq Glide.” As the name suggests the new tablet is launched under the previous line-up of Magiq tabs, and most of the features are preserved such as it still bears that old design and the new tablet also runs on that very outdated version of Android V2.2 popularly known as Froyo.
The new thing added is a faster 1 GHz processor, as previously Beetel has launched Magiq II with stripped down version of processor with 768 MHz while, the earlier version of Magiq was available with 1 GHz processor. Another noticeable new thing is a better capacitive touch is added by replacing the previous resistive type touchscreen display. Additionally, the Magiq Glide is also touted to be enhanced with SIM calling feature, but we’re not sure whether this is new functionality or it’s already existed in the previous version of Magiq.
Rest, it has a same 7-inch display unit, comes with 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage which, is easily expandable up to 16 GB via hot swappable micro-SD card. In the name of connectivity there’s already support for 3G up to 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi with Hotspot ability and Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR. On the rear end it’s still equipped with a rear facing 2 mega pixel Camera and the similar 2 MP Cam is also mounted on its front end and lastly it’s fitted with the same 2,200 mAh battery.
The best price of Beetel Magiq Glide in India is Rs.11,999 and the tablet is expected to be available for sale within this month.
