Nokia 700 features the Symbian Belle operating system. The Nokia 700 claims itself to be the most compact touch monoblock Smartphone in the market today. This is a tiny device, but it also packs quite a punch when it comes to functionality.
Coming with Symbian Belle OS, Nokia claims that it is the smaller, smoother Symbian phone till date. Nokia 700 weighs only 96g and measures just 110 x 50.7 x 9.7mm. It’s best for those who want smaller Smartphone that is easy to carry on their pocket but don’t want to miss out on modern functionality.
Nokia 700 offers a penta band radio, WiFi and HSUPA 3G data transfers. It’s powered by 1GHz processor, and also has GPS, compass, Bluetooth and FM radio. The battery life is good with 7.3 hours talk-time or up to 465 hours on standby. 5-megapixel full focus camera and LED flash is another good feature which can be used for capturing pictures and video. It comes with 2GB of internal memory and a MicroSD card slot expandable up to 32GB of extra storage.
The screen is a 3.2-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display with Corning® Gorilla® Glass on top. This gives excellent brightness and contrast. But at this time it’s a bit smaller compared to other smart phones which has at least 3.5 inch and more screens.
There’s also NFC built in, so you can touch to share pictures, use NFC-enabled accessories such as the Nokia Play 360°, and enjoy more applications as they arrive.
Nokia 700 claims to be the greenest phone to date. It’s free of pollutants like PVC, RFR and BFR. It’s also constructed using materials like bio-plastics, recycled plastics and recycled metals. Thanks to the AMOLED screen, ambient light sensor and power-save mode, the Nokia 700 will remain environmentally responsible throughout its life. Like every Nokia, it can be 100% recycled once it’s time to move on.
